Modern High started in Toronto with a simple, stubborn idea — that streetwear could be treated like art, and art could be worn. The Since 1987 on our tags isn’t decoration; it’s a standard we’ve tried to keep.

Quality & Class

Those two words are the whole brief. Quality is the fabric, the print, the fit. Class is restraint — knowing what to leave off. Together they explain why our brand world is black and white while our artwork burns with colour.

The city in the work

Toronto is a city of many cultures stacked together, and you can feel it in the palette and the range — wildlife, surrealism, heritage type, all under one mark. We’re independent, we’re small on purpose, and we plan to be here for a long time.
